There is finally a place in Oklahoma City that serves REAL CAJUN FOOD.  I have been traveling to New Orleans for over 20+ years for the great culture, food, and music.  And have been yearning for a great place that REALLY knows how to cook Cajun Food.  And now, it’s arrived!  The owner of this establishment has been doing a great job over the last year and a half as a breakfast establishment.  They make some of the greatest waffles and pancakes you will ever eat.  Try the Bananna Walnut/Blueberry waffles on Saturday or Sunday.  But, since they couldn’t establish a niche for lunch and dinner, the owner, Simi brought in Cajun chef and new partner Ken to really spice things up.  And spice things up they have….

We barely got seated with plates full of fresh green salad and a bowl of Gumbo before the waitress had delivered a basket of hot Beignets dusted with powdered sugar (remember Applewoods Apple Fritters?)  that melt in your mouth like butter.  She also placed a platter full of fried catfish with a sweet dipping sauce that was to die for!!!

Also on the stainless buffet were such Cajun Standards such as:

• Seafood Gumbo

• Crawfish Etoufee

• Blackened Pork Chops

• Blackened Chicken and Pasta

• Collard Greens

• AuGratin Potatoes

• Homemade Corn Bread

• and much much more!!

To top it off, was homemade Dessert all for an affordable $8.95
